Three Hummock Island lies splendidly
isolated in Bass straight, exposed to the Great Southern
Ocean, approximately 45 miles S/E of King Island and just
north of Cape Grim on Tasmania's rugged north west cape.
Interestingly, Cape Grim is the location of
the 'baseline' weather station for the measurement of the
world's clean air and water. Take time to walk the Island's
lonely beaches or just curl up by the fire with a good book.
Your host is Rob Alliston, an inhabitant of
Three Hummock Island since he was 4 years old, has himself
travelled the world, but now permanently calls the island
home. He is an expert on the island's Aboriginal history
and wildlife.
