The Great Ocean Road was recently voted by
the highly respected and world famous travel magazine 'Conde
Nast' as number one out of 20 "must do" great drives of
the world.
After leaving Apollo Bay we fly along the
coast to Cape Otway, also known as the Cape of Hopes and
Dreams. From 1848 this light station was the nearest thing
to being Austalia's statue of liberty.
We then climb to 1,500 feet for a better
view, track back and overfly Apollo Bay, Skenes Creek, and
Cape Patton along the Great Ocean Road coastline before
descending over the bay for a seagull's view of trendy Lorne.
We then make the return flight to Apollo Bay
at 500 feet over the breakers.
